Coloring, Conversation, and Conference

Description:

Coloring:  Bring your favorite coloring design book and pencils or use materials available via DC/SLA.   If you color outside the lines, no problem!

Conversation:  Talk about various library issues - What's Up with SLA, a New CEO for SLA, The plans for the DC MLK Library, What DC Public Librarians are doing,  Prison Library, Library Management Issues, Professional Development and Where to Get It - or whatever those at your "coloring table" would like to discuss.

Conference:  SLA 2016 in Philadelphia - Learn who is attending, Chapter Members as presenters, hosting, facilitating, etc. Interesting programs and events.

National Geographic Society is located at 1145 17th St NW.
- The closest metro is Farragut North or Farragut West.
- If you come from 17th St., walk through the building and across the courtyard into the next building, past the cafeteria and up the steps. The library is on the right.
- You can also enter from the M street courtyard. Please note the 16th street doors will be locked.

You should not need to check in with Security -- there will be a sign in table outside the library.

We are sorry but registration for this event is now closed.
