On February 27, DC/SLA member Susan Antos, an expert in training and human resources, will hold an interview workshop designed to hone your skill in answering questions. Come with your resume and a willingness to answer questions!
About Susan Antos
Susan Antos is a librarian and a training and human resources professional. She has offered interviewing skills workshops for applicants and interviewers, and has coached individuals, to hone their skills. Most recently, she has offered her workshop “Interview Skills that Win Jobs” at the Takoma Park Branch of the District of Columbia Public Library and for the Washington, DC Chapter of Dress for Success. From May 2011 to June 2013, she worked with over 800 unemployed workshop attendees through the Virginia Workforce Center.
Susan has worked in the training and human resources field in banking and higher education. Using her experience and transferring her skills, she earned her MSLIS from Catholic University and transitioned into a career as an association librarian. In 2013, Ms. Antos relocated from Fredericksburg. VA to Washington, DC. As of December 2014, she has been on assignment for the LAC Group as a Research Librarian at the International Monetary Fund.
