About Our Speaker: Liba Tomas is a Senior Recruiter at NPR who uses LinkedIn to scout talent for a variety of departments, including IS/IT, Finance, Communications and Digital Services. Prior to joining NPR in 2010, she held senior HR positions in companies such as Fox Interactive Media, Powerwave Technologies and DHR (David Hoffman Recruiting).
Once upon a time, Liba was a librarian who made a career transition of her own. She is a graduate of the School of Librarianship in Prague, Czech Republic; holds an MBA in Global Business from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas and a B.A. in Art History from the University of Texas.
